“Dear Lupa, Your awesomeness is killing me. I want to be buried in fox bits. Don’t ever stop” <3 Thorn”
Possibly the best compliment I’ve gotten from a customer; she and her coven are regulars and I just sent another set of fox ears their way.
And I was not kidding. I’ve got several pieces from Lupa (all red fox) and I am always overwhelmed by how gorgeous her work is. One fox in particular (I’ve named her Sela) has become my most prized working tool. I love how each has a distinct personality and fits into life a little differently, be it through formal ritual, ecstatic dance, or just for play when I’m out and about in my day to day life. My friend MLE is now the very proud owner of a deer tail from Lupa, and it’s been fun to watch her carry it around and get to know it. This has really brought a fantastic new element to our magical practices, given us loads to talk about and explore, and all around just made life brighter and more interesting. You have grateful patrons in NC, Lupa!
As a funny aside, the other day I wore my tail to class and the professor was all like, “Well, at least when you get old you won’t have any problems being eccentric.”
He doesn’t even know.
